PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
The Presbyterian Women’s Purpose - Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
-
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study,
-
To support the mission of the church worldwide,
-
To work for justice and peace,
-
And to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.
All women of MPC are considered members of PW and are always welcome to attend a meeting or activity.
The Presbyterian Women of Morrisville provide numerous opportunities to serve the women of the church. You are invited to attend a monthly Circle meeting, drop by to experience “First Monday”, attend a luncheon and program or be part of our annual craft fair. Women of faith are busy, giving of their time in many ways. Our goal is to offer fellowship, spiritual renewal, and fun as we strive to fulfill our stated purpose. Any level of participation is welcomed. Circle information and opportunities are posted on the first floor hall bulletin board by the toddler room.
Activities include:
-
Retreats
-
Mission Workshops
-
Special luncheons and programs
