Boy Scout Troop 3
Scouts BSA Troop 3 has been going strong in Morrisville since 1911. We are one of the oldest troops in the nation. For over 110 years, Troop 3 has helped young men become responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
In spring 2023, Morrisville Presbyterian Church chartered Troop 3G for girls ages 10+ (but not yet 18). The addition of a female Scouts BSA troop means that now Morrisville scouting will now be available to serve all youth in our community.
Scouts meet weekly on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at Morrisville Presbyterian Church. Meetings run from the Monday after Labor Day through late June.
During the weekly meetings, Scouts work on rank advancement, plan for upcoming camping trips, develop life skills, and work on merit badges. There are many opportunities for our Scouts to work on their leadership and Scouting skills throughout the year while building lifelong friendships.
Cub Scout Pack 3
Cub Scout Pack 3 is a family pack welcoming all youth to participate in the programs we have to offer for boys and girls in grades K-5. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys and girls grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit.
Our Cub Scouts meet weekly with their dens to work on advancement. Then, once a month, we get together for a Pack Meeting. The pack meeting brings all of the dens in the pack together for the purposes of recognizing the achievements of the Cub Scouts, communicating information about upcoming events, and providing a program that enriches the Cub Scouting experience. It helps the Cubs realize their den is part of a larger organization.
